About the BT8010 Control Center

Using the BT8010 Control Center PC application, you can:

  • Create and organize your headset phone book
  • Download a personal language to your headset
  • Update your headset with the latest headset software release
Each and every time we update the control center, we'll alert you by e-mail using the address you have given us so you won't miss out on the chance to get the most out of your new headset.
 
 

Getting started

1   Download / install software

Setup program (including Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework):

Click and run the setup program:

You do not have to uninstall an existing version when upgrading.

2   Download language packs (optional)

Download and save the preferred language pack on your computer (default is english).

From the Control Center software you can then import the language pack to your BT8010 headset.

Warning!
We recommend you only to import languages you understand to avoid problems with headset operation.

3   Download firmware (recommended)

Download and save the firmware upgrade on your computer.

Via the Control Center application you can then import the new firmware to your BT8010 headset.

Warning!
When upgrading firmware do NOT disconnect your headset from the PC before having finished installing/upgrading the software.

4   Download / install software

Run the Control Center Application (double click the icon on the desktop)

You will be greeted the screen to the left. Then just follow the on-screen instructions.

  • Phone book:
    To manage up to 30 phone book contacts, click on the phone book icon

  • Language pack:
    To add addtional language packs, click on the Language Packs icon

  • Firmware update:
    To transfer software upgrades that you have imported to your computer, click on the Firmware icon
